Dr. Brian Billman is an archaeologist whose research focuses on political economy, human violence, the evolution of human behavior, heritage preservation, and more. His primary regional specialty is Andean South America, where he began working in 1985. Since 1998, Dr. Billman has directed a field school in household archaeology in the Moche Valley for undergraduate and graduate students that contributes to his Moche Origins Project. He recently stepped into the role of SUA advisor, and can’t wait to see the club reach it’s full potential!
